Does it cost anything to work with an advisor?+
No, it’s 100% free to you. Licensed advisors are paid by the insurance companies, so you pay the same premium whether you go through me, a call center or Healthcare.gov. The difference is you get expert guidance and a dedicated advocate.
How is this different from Healthcare.gov or a call center?+
Healthcare.gov only shows ACA plans, with no private options or personal advice. Call centers read from scripts. With me you get one licensed advisor who knows your situation, compares every major carrier and stays with you after enrollment.
How fast can I be covered?+
Most clients enroll the same day we talk, with coverage active by the 1st of the following month. Private plans can start in as little as 24 hours.
What if Open Enrollment is closed?+
You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period after a life event like losing coverage, moving, marriage, a new baby or an income change. Private Health Base plans are also available year-round.
I have a pre-existing condition. Can I still get covered?+
Yes. ACA plans can’t deny you or charge you more for a pre-existing condition. That’s federal law. We help clients with diabetes, heart conditions, cancer history, mental health needs and more.
Will you share my info or flood me with calls?+
Never. Your information stays with me and is only used to find you coverage. No lead-sharing, no sold lists, no telemarketers.
Do you help with dental, vision and life insurance?+
Yes. I offer health, dental, vision, life and small business group plans. Many clients bundle health, dental and vision because it’s often cheaper.
How do I know if I qualify for a subsidy?+
Subsidies (premium tax credits) are based on household income and size. Many people qualify without knowing it. I run the numbers for you on our first call.
I’m self-employed or a 1099 contractor. Can you help?+
This is one of my specialties: ACA subsidies based on net income, Private Health Base plans and HSA strategies that can save you money at tax time.
What states do you service?+
I’m licensed in 32+ states and growing. Just ask. If I don’t cover yours, I’ll point you to a trusted colleague who does.
